All items to a suit should always be cleaned together to ensure any colour or fabric change between garments is kept the same.
Q: What are the benefits of dry cleaning over washing?
Dry cleaning is very good at removing grease and oil based stains and is less likely to fade deep coloured garments.
Helpful Hints
- Point out known or unknown stains to the assistant
- Check pockets before depositing garments
- If you spill something down your garment whilst out, do not rub the stain aggressively dab the area with a cloth then take the item for dry cleaning. Rubbing a stain can cause abrasion and damage a fabric especially silk.
- Don't keep your dry cleaned garments in their plastic covers for long periods. Harmful gases can build up and discolour your garments
- Advise the assistant of any special requirements such as creases or starching prior to depositing your garments
